various sunscreens
the hunt for a perfect sunscreen is neverending.
it has to be sensitive-skin friendly, not sting my eyes, not trigger my eczema, be mattifying but not drying... y'know what, maybe i'm not looking for one sunscreen.

my current go-to. it stings my eyes so bad if i sweat even slightly, but the moisturising aspect really works for me and the matte finish lasts for casual daily wear.

it's very greasy for a fluid sunscreen, and stings the skin around my eyes and mouth. the mattifying label is also mildly disappointing, it still leaves a satin skin finish, but for a budget sunscreen it does the job so i can't complain too much.
la roche posay anthelios invisible fluid spf 50+

this is a pricey liquid sunscreen, but it dries like a primer, is relatively scent-neutral, and best of all: doesn't irritate my eyes at all.
i can't really afford to use it regularly, so instead my morning routine is to apply a cheaper sunscreen avoiding my eye area, and then use this around my eyes and t-zone.

this is the basic sunscreen to beat, for me. it is a good moisturiser, and doesn't rub off or run easily. this means my eyes don't get stung as much as with other sunscreens.
the only con, however, is a big one: it has a greasy feel and finish. this is fine for body sunscreen, but i'd rather not have my face look permanently sweaty when i'm out in public.
